HFC Funding Corporation is currently one of a select few approved Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Lenders in the nation. We are approved to underwrite FHA multifamily loans anywhere in the United States and currently have applications submitted and/or in processing for the states of Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Florida.

We have a lot of combined individual experience that is specific to all facets of the HUD insured programs. We have put together a very experienced team that includes former HUD employees, a real estate paralegal specializing in HUD loan review and closings, respected Market Analysts, Appraisers, Architectural and Engineering Consultants, and Cost Analysts. Through multifamily development experience and current loan underwriting experience, I have gained the knowledge of the interior workings of a typical HUD office and have had an incredible amount of exposure to all of the HUD Multifamily Programs. My background includes 15 years of working in all facets of the multifamily industry from on-site manager through project development, underwriting, and cost analysis. I have successfully closed and/or developed more than 75 developments totaling in excess of $750 million dollars in loans, including Market Rate, New Construction, Nursing Homes, Project Refinances, and Low-Income Housing Developments.

We try to focus our underwriting from a developer’s perspective, looking at and assisting in everything from site selection to market information, and from feasibility to cost. We are a small company, and therefore our developers do not get lost in the shuffle. We are easily accessible at any time of the day and on weekends. If you need our assistance in site selection, preliminary market analysis, sample cost, or general information on any market throughout the United States we are here to accommodate you in any way possible.

With the correct combination of varied individual skills and experience within our company, we feel we are able to fill a void in the multifamily mortgage industry. By combining all of our skills under one roof, we can assist developers and create a comfort level for them that they may not be able to find with a typical multifamily mortgage company.
